Welcome to IFS App, operated by ZenApps UK (trading name of Web Print & Signs Ltd, Burnley, Lancashire, UK). IFS App is a self-reflection and personal-growth tool built around the Internal Family Systems (IFS) framework — a well-established psychological model that helps people understand and work with the different "parts" of themselves. By using IFS App you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you have any questions, contact us at hello@ifsapp.co.uk.
You must be at least 13 years old to use IFS App. If you are under 16 and resident in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the UK, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian before creating an account. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet the applicable age requirement or have the required parental consent.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You may create one account per person; multiple accounts for the same individual are not permitted. You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date. You are responsible for all activity that takes place under your account. If you suspect your account has been compromised, contact us at hello@ifsapp.co.uk immediately.
You agree to use IFS App only for lawful, personal self-reflection purposes. You must not:
— Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the app or any content generated within it.
— Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the app.
— Use the app to harass, defame, or harm other users or third parties.
— Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or bypass any security or access controls.
— Impersonate a qualified therapist, counsellor, or mental-health professional, whether in any in-app feature or in relation to the therapist directory (see Section 6).
IFS App is a self-reflection and journalling tool. It is not a medical device, mental-health treatment, therapy service, or crisis service. Nothing in the app — including the AI guide, journal prompts, parts-mapping features, or any other content — constitutes clinical advice, a therapeutic relationship, or a substitute for professional mental-health care.
If you are in crisis, experiencing suicidal thoughts, or believe you or someone else is in immediate danger, please contact emergency services (999 in the UK, 911 in the US) or a crisis line immediately. We strongly encourage anyone using this app alongside mental-health challenges to also work with a qualified therapist or counsellor. IFS App is designed to complement — not replace — professional support.
IFS App includes a directory of practitioners who work with IFS-informed approaches. Listings in this directory are sourced from publicly available information and are provided for informational purposes only. We do not affiliate with, endorse, or refer users to any specific therapist, and we are not responsible for the quality, accuracy, or outcomes of any therapeutic relationship. Therapists may claim or report their listing by contacting hello@ifsapp.co.uk. Nothing in the directory constitutes a referral, recommendation, or endorsement by ZenApps UK.
IFS App is currently available for free. We reserve the right to introduce optional paid subscription tiers in the future. If and when we do, we will update these Terms and provide at least 30 days' notice via in-app banner. Free features that exist at the time of any subscription change will continue to be available to free users unless stated otherwise.
All software, design, trademarks, and content created by ZenApps UK (including the app interface, prompts, and AI model configurations) are owned by or licensed to ZenApps UK. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property without written permission.
Content you create within the app (your parts, journal entries, notes, and other personal data) is owned by you. By storing content in IFS App, you grant ZenApps UK a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and display that content solely within the app for the purpose of providing the service to you. This licence terminates when you delete your account and data.
You can delete your account at any time via Settings → Privacy → Delete My Account or by emailing hello@ifsapp.co.uk. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data after deletion.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, without prior notice for serious violations. We will endeavour to give notice for minor violations and allow time to remedy them. Upon termination for cause, your right to use the app ceases immediately.
IFS App is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from security vulnerabilities. We are not liable for any loss of data, personal injury, or harm arising from your use of the app.
To the fullest extent permitted by English law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of IFS App shall be capped at the greater of: (a) fees paid by you to ZenApps UK in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) £100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of IFS App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless you are a consumer entitled to bring proceedings in your country of residence under applicable consumer protection law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via an in-app banner at least 14 days before the change takes effect. The updated effective date will appear at the top of this page. Continued use of IFS App after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
